I’m Katharine Deeb, accomplished doula, birth advocate, childbirth educator, & placenta encapsulator, formerly serving my beloved birth community of Los Angeles for many years, now getting rooted in Jacksonville, Florida.
For over 17 years I’ve stood in the light and shadow of birth, holding space for the raw, transformative power of bringing new life into the world. I have walked beside hundreds & hundreds of families with deep discernment, unwavering presence, fierce protection, and quiet wisdom…welcoming souls into the world with reverence and care.
Each family, each birth, leaves an imprint…and I’m forever honored and humbled to be invited into these sacred spaces.
I trust the process of physiological birth and the intuition & choices of my clients. I will support you however and wherever you choose to birth your baby.

Where I Work
I serve clients birthing primarily in Duval County, Jacksonville Beaches and St. John’s County.
I attend births at hospitals including, but not limited to: Baptist Beaches, HCA Memorial, Ascension St. Vincent’s Southside, UF Health Flagler, UF Health North, Baptist South, Baptist Medical Center.
I support clients at all birth centers, and attend homebirths in Riverside, San Marco, Murray Hill, Avondale, Springfield, Southside, Mandarin, Orange Park, Atlantic Beach, Rivertown, Neptune Beach, Jacksonville Beach, Mayport, Arlington, Julington Creek, Mandarin, Orange Park, Nocatee, World Golf Village, Ponte Vedra, Jax Beach, and St. Augustine, among others.
I offer travel doula services to Los Angeles, parts of the East Coast, Miami-Dade, Boca Raton, Palm Beach & throughout Florida.
